1. Our commitment
Wellmens is committed to making our website accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. We are continuing to improve the website with accessibility in mind and welcome feedback on how we can do better.
2. Scope of this statement
This accessibility statement applies to the main Wellmens website at wellmens.co.uk. It does not cover any third party systems or websites we link to, including external portals, video platforms or social media sites.
Some documents linked from this site, such as PDFs or downloads, may have been produced by third parties or at different times and may not yet meet the same accessibility standards as newer content.
3. What we are aiming for
Our aim is to align this website with recognised accessibility good practice such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). We work towards this by:
- Using clear headings and structure to organise content
- Writing in plain, straightforward language where possible
- Ensuring appropriate colour contrast between text and background
- Providing text alternatives for meaningful images
- Designing navigation to be consistent and predictable
- Making forms as simple and clear as we can
4. Features that should help
Depending on your browser or device you should be able to:
- Zoom in on pages up to a reasonable level without content disappearing off the screen
- Navigate most of the site using just a keyboard
- Navigate most of the site using a screen reader
- Use browser tools or extensions to adjust colours, contrast and fonts
5. Where we know there may be limitations
We are aware that some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible, for example:
- Older PDF documents and downloads may not be fully tagged for screen readers
- Some third party content and embedded media may not meet the same standards
- Occasionally, new content may contain formatting that is not yet fully optimised
We are working to improve these areas over time, prioritising content that is used most frequently.
6. Third party tools and content
We sometimes use third party tools on this site, for example to display maps, videos or forms, or to collect analytics. While we aim to choose suppliers who take accessibility seriously we do not control the accessibility of their platforms. If you have difficulty with any embedded content please let us know.
7. If you need information in a different format
If you cannot access any part of this website or need information in a different format, such as accessible PDF, large print or a different digital format, please contact us:
- Email: info@wellmens.co.uk
- Phone: +44 800 888 6801
Please tell us which page or document you are referring to and what format would be most helpful. We will discuss options with you and aim to respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
8. Reporting accessibility problems
We are always looking to improve the accessibility of this website. If you find any problems not listed on this page or think we are not meeting accessibility requirements, please contact us using the details above. Your feedback will help us prioritise improvements.
9. This statement
This accessibility statement will be reviewed and updated periodically as we improve the site or if there are changes in guidance or regulation.
